How to check on the phone

1. Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager
2. Look for Add eSIM or Add mobile plan
3. Menu wording changes between One UI versions — search Settings for eSIM if it is not where you expect

Things to know

• The same model can lack eSIM in some countries — check your own SIM manager menu.
• Mainland China units and some South Asian batches typically ship without eSIM.
• Many India-market units have eSIM disabled — if you bought a grey-import handset, check the SIM manager before you plan the trip.
• Only 5G or LTE Galaxy Tab models carry an eSIM — Wi-Fi models do not.
• LTE Galaxy Watches use a watch plan from the carrier paired with your phone — travel eSIM cannot be installed.
