Plan your trip, find the right plan

Three answers, and we will tell you the shape of plan and the rough data size to look for.

Plan your trip, find the right plan

We suggest

A fixed plan of about 8GB for 7 days

The figure comes from the usage level you picked times your days, plus 15% headroom — not from any plan's price or our margin.

1

Choose your destination and plan

Read the data, validity, networks used and hotspot rules in each plan's spec table before you decide.

2

Pay and get the eSIM by email

We only order from the supplier after payment succeeds, then send the QR code and install steps to your inbox.

3

Install at home on Wi-Fi

Installation needs internet, so do it before you fly. Installing is not activating — the clock has not started yet.

4

Switch the line on when you land

Leave airplane mode, enable the eSIM line, set it as the data line, and keep roaming data off on your home SIM.

Why eSIMonline

We sell connectivity, not promises

Conditions before checkout, not after

Every plan shows the networks used, activation policy, speed ceilings and hotspot rules in one table.

Rankings do not follow our margin

Recommendations are computed from price per GB, validity and features only — never weighted by what we earn.

Clear line between our plans and partner deals

Partner deals name the seller and disclose our commission; payment and after-sales support stay with them.

Support from people

Reach us on LINE or by email at esimonline.asia@gmail.com. We do not claim 24/7 cover we cannot actually staff.

Plan types

Four genuinely different shapes, and the catch in each

TypeSuitsWatch out for
Fixed GBShort to medium trips where you know your usageUnused data expires with the plan
DailyLong trips or steady daily useFull-speed data resets daily and does not carry over
UnlimitedTravellers who do not want to count gigabytesThere is a daily full-speed ceiling; past it you are throttled under FUP

How many gigabytes does this trip need?

Computed from how you use data, not from the plan we would like to sell.

8 GB

About 0.9 GB a day over 7 days, plus 15% headroom for the heavier days.

This is an estimate from typical usage patterns, not a measurement of your phone. For a real number, check the data usage stats from your last trip.

How we make money, and where this data comes from

Plan data in this build comes from a demo supplier used to exercise the system. Prices and networks are replaced with live data once a supplier API is connected.

We earn from the margin on the plans we sell ourselves and from commission on partner deals, which we label every time. We do not take payment to change rankings, and we never mark a plan as best because it pays us more.

FAQ

The questions we are asked most

What is an eSIM and how does it differ from a normal SIM?+

An eSIM is a SIM profile installed straight onto a chip inside the phone. There is no plastic card, so you can buy and install before you travel and keep your existing SIM in place.

When does the validity start?+

Most plans start on first connection at the destination rather than at purchase, though some start at purchase. Each plan's spec table states which.

Do I keep my own number?+

Yes. A travel eSIM is a separate data line; your home SIM stays in the phone and still receives calls and bank OTPs. Just switch its roaming data off.

Does my phone support eSIM?+

Dial *#06# and look for an EID line. You can also search your model in our device checker, though what the handset itself reports is the most reliable answer.

How far ahead should I buy?+

For plans that start on first connection you can buy whenever, but install one to two days before the flight so there is time to fix any problem.

What if installation fails?+

Message us with your order number, handset model and a screenshot of the cellular settings. Do not delete the profile — it installs only once.

Can I share a hotspot?+

Only on plans that say so, and we show it in every spec table. Some plans, especially cheap unlimited ones, restrict or forbid it.

Is there a phone number and SMS?+

Most plans are data-only with no number for SMS. If you need Thai bank OTPs, keep your home SIM in the phone with that line enabled.

What speeds should I expect?+

It depends on the networks the plan uses and local congestion. We do not guarantee a speed figure, and we do not publish test results we did not run.

Can prices show in another currency?+

Yes, from the header. Prices are held in USD and converted for display; the amount actually charged depends on the payment provider and your bank.

Can I top up?+

Only on plans marked as top-up capable. If yours is not, buy another plan and install it as a second profile on the same phone.

When can I get a refund?+

The refund policy sets it out: broadly, when a plan does not work as described and cannot be fixed. Plans already activated and used generally cannot be refunded.
