Galaxy flagships have supported eSIM since the S20 series in many markets, and the Z Fold and Z Flip lines have supported it from early generations. In the A series only a few models carry it.

How to check on the phone
- Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager
- Look for Add eSIM or Add mobile plan
- Menu wording changes between One UI versions — search Settings for eSIM if it is not where you expect
Things to know
- The same model can lack eSIM in some countries — check your own SIM manager menu.
- Mainland China units and some South Asian batches typically ship without eSIM.
- Many India-market units have eSIM disabled — if you bought a grey-import handset, check the SIM manager before you plan the trip.
- Only 5G or LTE Galaxy Tab models carry an eSIM — Wi-Fi models do not.
- LTE Galaxy Watches use a watch plan from the carrier paired with your phone — travel eSIM cannot be installed.
