Google Pixel and eSIM
Pixel has supported eSIM since the Pixel 2, though the earliest models were tied to specific carriers. From the Pixel 6 onward it is one of the easiest families for travel eSIM.

How to check on the phone
- Open Settings → Network & internet
- Tap the plus next to SIMs and choose Download a SIM instead
- The wording changes between Android versions — search Settings for eSIM if you cannot find it
Things to know
- Some carrier-bought US Pixels stay locked until unlocked.
- On the Pixel 2 through Pixel 4 era, eSIM was still tied closely to carriers, so on a second-hand unit of that age test the menu before buying a plan.
- The Pixel Tablet is Wi-Fi only — no cellular, no eSIM.
