What this calculator actually computes

You enter how many photos and clips you expect to shoot per day, and the tool multiplies that by a fixed assumed file size per item written into the formula, then by the number of days on the trip. What appears on screen is the product of the figures you typed, not a measurement of the files your particular camera actually produces.
