What Vodafone UK says on its own site (checked 10 October 2026)

This page compares with Vodafone UK only; Vodafone in other countries has its own terms. Vodafone UK's roaming page groups destinations into zones. For Pay monthly customers, Zone A (Ireland, Isle of Man, Iceland and Norway) is included on all plans. Euro Roam covers 52 destinations in Zones A and B, and Global Roam covers 84 destinations in Zones A, B and C, including Australia, Turkey, Mexico and the USA. Zone D lists 73 more destinations, such as Egypt, India, Morocco, Thailand and the UAE.

For Pay as you go customers, Zone A is included and Zone B has 74 destinations, including Australia, Thailand and the USA. PAYG Plus users need an Extra to roam. Extras last 8 days (Europe or Rest of the World) or 8 or 15 days (Around the World), start as soon as you buy them, and Vodafone advises buying them on Wi-Fi if you are already abroad. A new PAYG SIM must first be activated by topping up at least £5 or buying a Big Value Bundle.

The same page sets a roaming fair use limit of 25GB, after which it charges £3.84 per GB, and says extra charges may apply if you roam for more than 62 days or use more abroad than in the UK over 4 months, with a text warning 14 days before.
