Payment succeeded but there is no QR

Payment status and eSIM fulfilment are tracked separately; the order may still be processing at the supplier. Your order page shows both states. If it stays in processing beyond 30 minutes, contact us — we will check with the supplier and refund if the profile cannot be issued.

Payment succeeded, you saw a confirmation from the bank or payment channel, yet opening the order page still shows no QR code to scan and install. This is a situation easy to feel uneasy about, since it feels like money has already gone out but nothing has come back yet. This page explains why these two steps do not always happen at the same instant, how long a wait counts as unusual, and what is worth doing while waiting.

This page is written for anyone who has just paid successfully and still sees no QR, anyone counting how long is reasonable to wait, and anyone who has waited long enough to start wondering whether a refund follows if no QR ever arrives. We explain the mechanism behind issuing an eSIM after payment, what our order page actually shows, and the steps worth taking if the status stays stuck longer than it should.

Payment succeeded but there is no QR

Why payment success and getting a QR are not the same thing

Payment and eSIM issuance are two entirely separate steps in our system. The first is confirming your bank or payment channel has approved the transaction, which usually happens fast, within seconds to a few minutes. The second is our system sending a request to the eSIM supplier to actually issue the profile, which happens after the first step completes, not simultaneously with it.

The reason they are separate is that payment confirmation sits under the bank and payment channel's control, while issuing the eSIM profile sits under the supplier's own system that we connect to. The two systems operate independently. Our role is to bridge the two and display both statuses on one order page, but we cannot directly control the speed of either side.

Our order page always shows payment status and profile-issuing status separately. Watch both status bars — do not just see the bank confirm the deduction and assume the QR must appear instantly.

What the order page actually shows

Opening the order page, you first see the payment status, which should read payment successful if the bank has genuinely approved the transaction. Next to it is the eSIM-issuing status, which may show as processing while our system waits for a response from the supplier. That status changes to issued successfully with a QR to scan only once the supplier confirms the profile has actually been issued.

If these two statuses do not match, for example payment successful while issuing is still processing, that reflects the mechanism described above correctly — it is not a system error, it simply needs the second step to finish over the time it actually takes.

How long a wait counts as unusual

How long profile issuance takes after successful payment varies by supplier, by how many orders are processing at that moment, and sometimes by the destination country of the plan. We cannot give one fixed time figure that applies to every order, but generally, if the status stays at processing for longer than 30 minutes, that has gone past the normal range and is the point worth contacting us.

Do not place a second order just because the QR is taking longer than expected — that becomes two separate orders each requiring its own payment. If the first order is still processing, wait or contact us instead of ordering again.

Steps to take while waiting

  1. 1Open the order page and check both status barsConfirm the payment status genuinely reads successful, then check what stage the eSIM-issuing status is at.
  2. 2Refresh the page or app once moreSometimes the status has already updated in the system but the screen has not shown the latest yet — refreshing pulls the current status.
  3. 3Time how long it has stayed at processingRoughly note the time payment succeeded, so you can compare whether more than 30 minutes have passed.
  4. 4If it exceeds 30 minutes with no QR, contact usMessage us on LINE or by email with the order number and the time payment succeeded.
  5. 5Keep the receipt or payment proof handy for referenceThis helps us check with the supplier faster once you report it.

What to do if it exceeds 30 minutes with no QR

Message us on LINE at https://lin.ee/skDPoNx (@esimonline) or email esimonline.asia@gmail.com with the order number and the time payment succeeded. We will check the status with the relevant supplier. If the review confirms the profile genuinely failed to issue, we will process a refund based on what is found — you are not left having paid with nothing to show for it.

How long checking with the supplier and processing a refund takes depends on that supplier's own cycle and your own card-issuing bank's cycle too. We cannot give a definite number of days in advance, but we will share progress as real information comes in at each step.

Common reasons the status stays at processing

The status staying at processing longer than expected often does not mean anything is broken. It is frequently just a queue on the supplier's side processing a large volume of orders at once, or a temporary delay in the connection between us and that supplier — something outside our direct control. What we can do is follow up and report the status back to you plainly.

Because each supplier runs its own system and speed, plans for certain countries or certain providers can occasionally take longer than usual to issue. We cannot tell in advance which plan will run into this delay, since it depends on that supplier's real situation at the moment you order.

Do not fully close the app or browser out of worry while the status still reads processing — even with the screen closed, server-side processing keeps running normally, and reopening it later still shows the latest status.

Check the confirmation email alongside the order page

Besides the order page on our site or app, you should also receive a payment confirmation email at the address used at checkout. If it is not in the regular inbox, check the spam or promotions folder first, since some email systems automatically sort a merchant's confirmation email into those folders even though it is a genuine email that was actually sent.

This confirmation email usually carries the order number and the plan's own details, which is useful information if you need to contact us later, since it confirms right away that the order genuinely exists in the system. But the confirmation email itself is not the installation QR code, and receiving it does not mean the profile has been issued. The actual QR code to scan only appears on the order page once the issuing status changes to successful — it is not something bundled with that first payment confirmation email.

Why we do not show the QR the instant payment succeeds

Some people wonder that since payment has already gone through, why does the system not issue the QR in the very same second? The answer is that each eSIM has to be generated as a profile specific to that order by the supplier's own system — it is not a large batch of ready-made profiles sitting prepared in advance waiting to be handed out instantly. Generating each profile has to pass through steps on the supplier's own side first before it is genuinely ready to be downloaded through a QR.

This design is a general standard across the eSIM industry, not a limitation unique to us, since each profile has to be tied to a specific number and account information belonging to the network provider behind that plan, to make sure it genuinely connects once scanned according to the plan purchased — not a placeholder QR tied to nothing, issued purely for the sake of speed.

If it ultimately fails to issue, will I get a refund?

If our check with the supplier confirms the profile genuinely could not be issued, we process a full refund for that order. When no eSIM was actually delivered, there is no reason to keep the payment. The refund goes back through the same channel the payment came in on, and how long it takes to appear in your account depends on your own card-issuing bank's cycle, same as in other cases.

What we do not do is refund without first checking what actually happened, because sometimes a processing status that looks unusually long ends up completing on its own not long after. Checking first confirms clearly whether that order should end up with an eSIM or a refund, rather than jumping to a conclusion either way.

Common mistakes while waiting for a QR

Do not place another order simply because the QR is slow to appear — that creates two separately paid orders and can add confusion to the time it takes us to check things.
Do not uninstall the app or clear browser data while waiting, since login information or order history may still be needed for checking things afterward.

Checklist before contacting us

  • Confirmed the payment status genuinely reads successful
  • Refreshed the order page at least once
  • Timed that more than 30 minutes have passed since payment succeeded
  • Kept the order number and receipt ready to share with us
  • Have not placed a duplicate order while waiting

If you are unsure whether to keep waiting or contact us now

If it has not yet been 30 minutes since payment succeeded, waiting a little longer is a reasonable choice, since most profile-issuing processes finish within that window normally. But if that window has passed, or you feel anxious enough to want clarity sooner, messaging us right away is always fine without needing to wait for the full condition to be met first.

Whether you reach out a little earlier or later than the 30-minute mark, we check the order's real facts either way — there is no extra cost for asking about status, and we do not leave a successfully paid order sitting without an answer.

سؤالات متداول

I paid successfully — why is there still no QR?+

Payment and eSIM issuance are two separate steps. The system waits for the supplier to issue the profile after payment is confirmed, which can take a little while.

How long should I wait before contacting support?+

If processing stays stuck for more than 30 minutes after payment succeeds, contact us to have it checked with the supplier.

If the profile fails to issue, will I get a refund?+

Yes. We refund in full once a review confirms the profile genuinely could not be issued, back through the same channel payment came in on.

Can I place another order while waiting?+

Not recommended, since it creates two separately paid orders. If the first is still processing, wait or contact us instead.

Does processing always staying stuck mean there is a problem?+

Not always — sometimes it is the supplier's own queue handling many orders at once. But past 30 minutes, let us check it.

What should I prepare before contacting support about this?+

Have the order number, the time payment succeeded, and the receipt or payment proof ready — it helps the check go faster.
