What TRD is like

Værnes sits on the shore of a fjord north of Trondheim, a mid-sized airport that moves people through without fuss. Arrivals divide between visitors to the old cathedral city and travellers pushing further north, some onto a small aircraft, others onto the northbound railway that runs up into country where the villages grow steadily further apart. What makes this airport interesting is that it works as a practical dividing line.
