Czy pozostałe dane starczą do powrotu do domu

Zanim to wypełnisz, otwórz statystyki danych w telefonie i sprawdź rzeczywistą liczbę. Szacunki zwykle mocno się mijają z prawdą.

+2 GB

Jeśli poczekasz do zera bez Wi-Fi w pobliżu, utkniesz. Zrób to, gdy zostaje jeszcze mniej więcej dzień zapasu.

To narzędzie stosuje stałe wzory do wpisanych przez ciebie liczb. Żadna cena pakietu nie jest wbudowana w wynik, a odpowiedź nie zmienia się w zależności od tego, ile zarabiamy.

What the numbers come from

The tool divides the data you say you have used by the number of days elapsed, to get an average daily rate, then multiplies that rate by the days left in the trip. It compares the result against the data you say remains, and the difference is the estimate of whether you fall short and by how much. All of it is plain arithmetic on the numbers you type in.

So the result is not a measurement of what you will actually use on the days ahead — it is a projection of past-day behaviour onto future days. If the days already gone were not representative of the days left, the figure will be off in the same direction.

Why an average is not tomorrow

An average smears a heavy day and a light day into a single figure. A beach day that barely opens the map uses far less than a city day spent photographing everything with navigation running constantly — but the average does not show that difference.

If the remaining days are planned to be heavier — a big photo upload, longer travel days — the figure will run under the real need. Re-enter the numbers whenever the itinerary changes meaningfully, rather than filling it in once at the start and trusting it to the end.

What it cannot know

It does not know whether the remaining days will be busy sightseeing or restful, does not know how strong the signal will be in the next city, and does not know how accurate the 'used so far' figure you entered actually is. If that input is off, the result is off by the same proportion.

It also does not know whether your specific plan can be topped up, or whether a top-up extends validity — that depends on the plan and has to be checked on that plan's own spec or help page. This tool only offers a figure for how much to add, not whether adding it is even possible.

  1. 1Open the phone's own data usage screenUse the device's network usage menu, not a banking or other app that only estimates the figure.
  2. 2Separate cellular usage from Wi-Fi usageThe figure to enter is data through the eSIM line only, not the combined total across every connection.
  3. 3Check whether the counter started from this line's activation dateSome phones count from the start of the calendar month, not from the line's activation date. If so, work out the elapsed days by hand to match reality.
  4. 4Enter the days left in the trip, not the trip's total lengthCount from today to the day you fly home, not from day one of the trip again.

Truly running low, or just throttled

Many unlimited plans do not limit volume at all — they limit speed once you pass a daily ceiling. What this tool reads is the remaining-data figure you type in, not a speed status. If the internet slows down while plenty of data remains, that is the daily ceiling throttling speed, not data running low.

Check the plan's spec page for a stated daily speed ceiling. If one exists, this tool's figure only speaks to volume — it says nothing about when speed will drop within any given day.

The last day usually costs more than expected

The travel-home day often brings a backlog of photo and video uploads, ride-hailing, flight checks, and more airport searching than an ordinary day. If the average was built from lighter days, the suggested top-up may run short of what the last day actually needs.

It is worth adding extra margin specifically for the last day, rather than trusting the average computed from all the earlier days at face value.

CzynnośćEffect on data use
Uploading a backlog of photos and videoAdds a clear spike in a single day, more than a day spent uploading gradually
Navigation running all day in an unfamiliar citySteady low usage all day, even though each single lookup is small
A rest day with barely any internet useClearly below the trip's average for that day
A video call or work meeting during the dayAdds usage only for the window the call is actually open

What makes one day heavier or lighter than the average

OptionWhat to know
Top up the existing planOnly works on plans that state they can be topped up — check the spec or help page first
Buy a second plan as another profileWorks on most phones that hold multiple profiles; you switch the data line yourself once the first runs out
Lean on Wi-Fi more for the rest of the tripCosts nothing extra, but needs a plan for where Wi-Fi will actually be available
Turn off non-essential syncingTrims daily usage somewhat, but does not add to the data actually remaining

Choices once the estimate shows a shortfall

What to do when a plan cannot be topped up

If the spec or help page states a plan cannot be topped up, the common route is to buy another plan and install it as a second profile — most phones today hold several profiles at once — then switch which line carries data once the first runs out, without removing the old one.

How validity and top-ups relate

Some plans add data only while the expiry date stays the same; others extend the validity too when topped up. This genuinely differs plan by plan, with no single rule that covers every case, so check that plan's own spec or help page directly before deciding to top up.

What a zero or negative figure means

If the difference comes out at zero or positive, it suggests that at the recent rate, the remaining data should reach the last day — though that is not a guarantee, since the remaining days may run heavier than the ones already gone, as explained above. If the result is negative, that figure gives a rough size of the shortfall, and it is worth rounding up a little before deciding how much to add.

Pair it with the full trip data calculator

If the figure here does not match your gut sense of things, work back through the full trip data calculator to see which activity is running heavier than first assumed, then adjust the used-so-far figure accordingly before recalculating the shortfall.

The figure in the phone's own usage screen can round or lag slightly against what the network itself recorded. Use the phone's own network statistics consistently every time you fill this in, rather than switching sources occasionally.
Do not wait for data to hit zero before trying to top up. Topping up needs a connection to complete the transaction — with data fully out and no Wi-Fi nearby, you cannot even open the top-up page.
This estimate assumes the remaining days look like the days already gone. If the itinerary changes substantially — an added long travel day with navigation running throughout — re-enter fresh numbers rather than relying on the earlier result.
  • Confirm the plan actually allows a top-up
  • Confirm a payment method and enough balance are ready
  • Confirm you are actually connected before starting the transaction
  • Save the order number after every successful top-up
  • If holding two lines, confirm the top-up lands on the correct one

Read the top-up policy for the plan in full

The help centre explains top-up conditions by plan type, and it is worth reading before travelling rather than once data is nearly gone, so you know in advance whether the plan you hold can be topped up and what to do if it cannot.

Contact us if a figure does not add up

If the figure conflicts with what you are actually seeing, or you are unsure whether your plan can be topped up, message us on LINE at https://lin.ee/skDPoNx (@esimonline), email esimonline.asia@gmail.com, or phone 089-942-0818 / 088-521-6848, with your order number. We take messages around the clock, every day.

Reading the result in a way that leads to a decision

The output answers one question: on the usage rate you typed in, roughly which day the remaining data runs out. If that day falls before your flight home, you have two moves — cut consumption, by stopping video away from your accommodation and holding app updates for Wi-Fi, or top up while data still remains. Waiting until the balance hits zero is the harder path, because part of buying a top-up needs a working connection to complete.

What the tool cannot know is how your plan counts its days, or whether that plan can be topped up at all. Both live on the plan's own detail page. If they are unclear there, message us on LINE @esimonline or email esimonline.asia@gmail.com with the order number and we will check what your plan actually allows.

Signs it is time to top up now rather than later

Three signals say top up now rather than later: less than a quarter of the allowance left with more than half the trip still to go, a heavier day already on the schedule such as a travel day or the journey home, and no reliable Wi-Fi to fall back on where you are staying. If any one of them is true, buying while data still remains is far easier than buying after it has gone.

After topping up, check the balance again a day later to confirm the new data has actually been credited. If the figure has not moved, send us the order number and we will look at what the record shows.

When topping up is not the better move

Sometimes a fresh plan beats a top-up: when several travel days remain and the data you still need is more than a small top-up would sensibly cover, or when you are about to cross into a country the current plan does not include. Compare the two from the plan detail pages rather than from a price per gigabyte alone, because the days that come with a plan matter to the value as much as the data does.

Pierwszy dzień zwykle obejmuje aktualizacje aplikacji, pobieranie map i mnóstwo wyszukiwania.
