旅遊 eSIM 與 Globe eSIM

What Globe says on its own site (checked 10 October 2026)

Globe has two routes that matter here. The first is roaming for Globe customers travelling outside the Philippines; Globe says roaming is pre-activated except on select plans and needs no load. The second is the Traveler SIM and Traveler eSIM for visitors to the Philippines.

For roaming, Globe offers Roam Surf 399 at PHP399 per 24 hours for Postpaid customers in selected countries, under Globe's Fair Use policy, and longer packs such as 12 GB for 15 days and 20 GB for 30 days, registered by SMS to 8080. Globe says leftover GBs stay usable back in the Philippines and roaming data can be shared with up to four Globe or TM users. The roaming hotline is (+632) 7730-1212, toll-free while roaming.

For visitors, Globe's Traveler eSIM gives 80 GB for PHP1,750, valid for 30 days, with unlimited calls and texts to all networks. You buy it in the GlobeOne app and can install it before arrival, but it must be registered on arrival in the Philippines, and payment is by Visa, MasterCard or JCB. Physical Traveler SIMs are sold at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3, Clark and Mactan-Cebu airports, from 30GB at PHP750 for 15 days up to 169GB at PHP3,000 for 30 days.

Side-by-side detail

Who should pick which

Globe is the better fit when

• You are visiting the Philippines and need a local number to call drivers or hotels or receive codes from local apps
• You use a lot of data over 30 days; compare the Traveler eSIM's 80 GB with our plans
• You are a Globe customer going abroad who wants to keep your number or share roaming data with family

A travel eSIM from esimonline.asia is the better fit when

• You need only data and would rather not install the GlobeOne app or register a SIM on arrival
• You are staying a few days and do not need 80 GB; look at smaller plans on our plan page
• Your card is not Visa, MasterCard or JCB, the cards Globe lists for the Traveler eSIM
• You want support in Thai or Chinese

Setup and switching steps

1. 1確認手機未被電信業者鎖定Both our eSIM and Globe's need an eSIM-capable, unlocked phone. Globe has check steps in the GlobeOne app, and we have a device checker.
2. 2Install before the flightScan the QR from the email over Wi-Fi, or enter SM-DP+ and the code manually, then keep the line off until you reach the Philippines.
3. 3If you choose the Traveler eSIMBuy it in the GlobeOne app, install before arrival if you like, and register on arrival in the Philippines as Globe requires.
4. 4Set the data line on arrivalTurn on the eSIM line you use, set it as the data line and turn off data roaming on your main SIM.

Common pitfalls

• Installing the Traveler eSIM before the flight and forgetting to register on arrival; Globe says it must be registered in the Philippines
• Globe customers using pre-activated roaming without a pack; turn off data roaming if you use our eSIM
• Assuming every airport sells the same SIMs; Globe says the 20GB PHP500 pack is only at selected provincial airports
• Buying a data-only eSIM and expecting calls; ours has no number
