Goa is not a city but a long coastal state, and the northern beaches and the southern ones differ in both mood and distance. Dabolim sits in the south, so passengers scatter in opposite directions the moment they leave the building. The state has a second airport serving the north as well, so check your ticket and be certain which one you are landing at, because they are far apart and booking a pick-up to the wrong one is the hardest mistake to unwind on this trip. Airport Wi-Fi exists, but the building is small and people leave fast, so you rarely sit inside its range long enough to do anything substantial. The real issue is outside: the coast roads to the beaches offer nothing public to fall back on, and plenty of beachside guesthouses run a connection that slows to a crawl the moment everyone comes back in the evening. Your own line here is less about the airport than about the whole week. That is a different calculation from a city trip where a cafe is always nearby.

From Dabolim you continue by road, whether that is a taxi from the forecourt, a car your guesthouse arranged, or a ride-hailing booking, which does work here but is thinner on the ground than in a big city. The distance depends entirely on whether your beach is north or south, anywhere from half an hour to more than ninety minutes. The route crosses river bridges and narrows to two lanes in places, so the map stays with you throughout. Many people rent two wheels once they arrive, which means phone navigation becomes a daily habit rather than a first-day one. Allow around 300MB for the first ride and then think in daily terms.
