Moshoeshoe I International Airport (MSU) near Maseru is the only international airport and has few flights, so most people arrive by land: Maseru Bridge, Maputsoe–Ficksburg Bridge, Caledonspoort, or Sani Pass from KwaZulu-Natal, which needs a 4x4. Get your line working before you reach the post, since several close in the evening.

Is winter a difficult time to visit Lesotho?+

Between June and August highland temperatures drop below freezing, and some roads become slippery or close. Drive in daylight only, pack genuinely warm clothing, and allow more time than your navigation app suggests for mountain sections.
