Yes in each island's main settlement — George Town in the Exumas, Dunmore Town on Harbour Island — but it disappears for long stretches once you are on the coastal roads, on an empty beach, or on a boat to a smaller cay. Treat any day on the water as offline and clear anything that needs a connection in the morning before you board.
What should I allow for when connecting on a small plane?+
Domestic hops shift with the weather and the passenger load, and airlines usually tell you by message or a direct call, so give a number you can actually be reached on when booking. Save the boarding pass as an image on the phone, and leave at least three hours between a Family Island flight and an international connection through Nassau.
Can I tether on a chartered boat?+
Only while you are still close to shore. A few miles off the island the signal goes and the hotspot stops meaning anything.
