Is there signal the whole way on the Trans-Siberian?+
No. Service returns as the train passes towns and major stations, but in between there are hours of taiga and open country with nothing at all. People who ride the line download films, music and books before boarding, keep the ticket saved both on the phone and on paper, and warn family at home that they will only be reachable when the train pulls into a bigger station.
