The limitation you actually feel here is timing: a lot of long-haul services land late at night or very early, and the moment you most want a connection is while you stand outside waiting for a ride. That is exactly where the airport network stops reaching. A line that is already live on landing is worth more on a two in the morning arrival than on a midday one. It also saves you hunting for a seat near a working access point.

The train from the airport reaches the central city in about twenty minutes and is the most direct option without a car. Taxis and app cars use the marked ranks and take the main road in. The part that really consumes data is whatever comes next: drive south to the vineyards or north along the coast and the distances between towns are long, with coverage clinging to the highway corridor. Download the whole route in advance and do not rely on a navigation app that needs to be online the entire way. Messaging and a booking here and there cost almost nothing by comparison.
