Prepare maps, tickets and documents offline, and expect anything heavy such as video calls or large uploads to be slow or impractical.

The gateway is Amata Kabua International (MAJ) on Majuro, a stop on the Island Hopper route that links Honolulu and Guam through several island calls, with regional flights from Nauru and Tarawa on some days. Outer atolls are reached on domestic flights with unpredictable schedules and on government field-trip ships that sail in rounds.
