Always read the covered list
A region name is only a label: an Asia plan may exclude a country on your route. Open the covered-country list on the plan page and check it against your actual itinerary.

| Criterion | Regional | Single country |
|---|---|---|
| Countries covered | Many countries on one profile | One country |
| Price per GB | Usually a little higher | Usually the cheapest for that country |
| Switching profiles | Never needed | Reinstall when you cross a border |
| Networks used | Vary by covered country | Focused on that country's networks |
Pick Regional
Worth it from two or three countries in a single trip.
Pick Single country
Better when you stay in one country, or spend over half the trip there.
