ZTE และ nubia and eSIM
ZTE and its sub-brands nubia and RedMagic chase specs per baht rather than eSIM, and their mainstream models still ship without it. Plan for a physical SIM if this is your handset.

| Model | eSIM | Year | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZTE Axon series | No | 2024 | Normally ships without eSIM — confirm in your handset's SIM menu. |
| nubia Z series | No | 2024 | Normally ships without eSIM — confirm in your handset's SIM menu. |
| nubia RedMagic series | No | 2024 | Normally ships without eSIM — confirm in your handset's SIM menu. |
How to check on the phone
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs
- Look for an add-SIM or download-SIM button — if it is absent, that model does not support it
- Dial *#06# — no EID means no eSIM chip
Things to know
- ZTE also makes mobile hotspots, a separate line from the phones — read each model's spec sheet on its own.
- China-market and global units run different software builds, so the menus differ even under the same model name.
Compatibility information is compiled from manufacturer specifications and public carrier documentation. We do not test every handset ourselves, and the same model can differ by sales market, so always check your own device's settings before buying a plan.
