du и travel eSIM в ОАЭ

du: коротко

du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications, MCC-MNC 424-03) lists LTE on 800 and 1800 MHz and 5G on 3500 MHz (n78); its 2G GSM network was shut down in December 2023.

du's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use du if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

du's coverage map

du publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows du's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses du

Mobile networks in United Arab Emirates are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

Тарифы в нашей линейке, где указана du

From the supplier record behind each package, 32 of the 56 plans we currently sell for United Arab Emirates declare du as a network the profile can reach, at 4G and 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Почему в планах не указана фиксированная сеть

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If du is weak where you are, try selecting Etisalat (e&) manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
