Econet и travel eSIM в Зимбабве

Econet: коротко

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe was founded by Strive Masiyiwa in 1998 as the country's first privately owned mobile operator, and reported about 11.8 million mobile subscriptions in Q2 2025.

Econet's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use Econet if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

Who licenses Econet

Mobile networks in Zimbabwe are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

Тарифы в нашей линейке, где указана Econet

From the supplier record behind each package, 22 of the 22 plans we currently sell for Zimbabwe declare Econet as a network the profile can reach, at 4G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Почему в планах не указана фиксированная сеть

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If Econet is weak where you are, try selecting NetOne manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
