SmarTone и travel eSIM в Гонконг

SmarTone: коротко

SmarTone's network code 454-06 is listed with 5G on 850, 3500, 4700 and 28000 MHz alongside LTE on 900, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz.

SmarTone's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use SmarTone if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

Who licenses SmarTone

Mobile networks in Hong Kong are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

From the supplier record behind each package, 73 of the 93 plans we currently sell for Hong Kong declare SmarTone as a network the profile can reach, at 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If SmarTone is weak where you are, try selecting China Mobile Hong Kong or CSL / HKT manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
