STC и travel eSIM в Саудовская Аравия

STC: коротко

stc (Al Jawal, MCC-MNC 420-01) lists 5G on 3500 MHz (n78) and LTE on 700, 1800 and 2100 MHz plus 2300 MHz TDD; its 3G UMTS network has been shut down.

STC's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use STC if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

STC's coverage map

STC publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows STC's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses STC

Mobile networks in Saudi Arabia are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

From the supplier record behind each package, 26 of the 72 plans we currently sell for Saudi Arabia declare STC as a network the profile can reach, at 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Почему в планах не указана фиксированная сеть

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If STC is weak where you are, try selecting Mobily or Zain KSA manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
