Thai holidays in June and what they do to fares
June 2027 has one Thai public holiday: H.M. Queen Suthida's Birthday on Thursday 3 June, per the Bank of Thailand. With Friday 4 June as leave it becomes a four-day weekend, which is enough for Japan, Korea or Bali but tight for Europe.
Thai schools reopen in mid-May, so June has less family demand than April or October, and outbound fares are among the lowest of the year on Asian routes. That changes from late June on routes to Europe, as the northern summer begins.
Visa notes for Thai passport holders in June

When to book for June
- June is a good month to buy Asian trips at short notice; four to six weeks ahead is usually enough outside the 3 June long weekend.
- For Norway, Iceland and Canada, book rooms and car hire before flights: small towns run out of beds long before seats run out.
- If a visa is needed, the visa appointment sets the timeline, not the fare: book the appointment first and buy refundable or changeable flights only after it is confirmed.
