Digicel und Reise-eSIM in Britische Jungferninseln

Digicel im Überblick

Digicel is a mobile network operator in British Virgin Islands, and one of the networks a travel eSIM may reach through roaming.

Digicel's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use Digicel if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

Digicel's coverage map

Digicel publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows Digicel's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses Digicel

Mobile networks in British Virgin Islands are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

Warum Pläne kein festes Netz nennen

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If Digicel is weak where you are, try selecting CCT Global Communications or Flow (Cable & Wireless) manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
