The one reliable method is to open that plan's list and walk your route against it country by country, transits included. If a name is not there, treat it as not covered and plan a separate plan for that leg.

If nothing arrives after that, cycle aeroplane mode again, confirm data roaming is enabled on the travel line, and only then try selecting a network manually.
Price both routes. One is a single regional plan; the other is a country plan for the main destination plus a short plan for the stopover. Which comes out better depends on the plans available at the time, so compare the actual figures on the plan pages rather than deciding from the pattern alone.
Installing and activating are separate steps, and the rule for when the clock starts belongs to each plan. Read the terms of the one you bought. The safest habit is to install in advance but leave the line switched off, then turn it on once you land. If you are unsure, message us before you travel.
