What Palma de Mallorca is like on a phone

Palma is both the capital of Mallorca and the gateway to the Balearics. Arrivals range from families in seafront resorts to cyclists training in the mountains and cruise passengers ashore for a day. • Serra de Tramuntana — The cliff road between Valldemossa and Deià has long empty stretches, especially where it faces inland into the valleys; download the whole route before you set out.
• Cap de Formentor — A narrow road along a ridge thrust into the sea; the high viewpoints hold a connection, while the sections dropping behind the ridge go completely quiet, so agree a return time with your group beforehand.
