Telekom DE y eSIM de viaje en Alemania

Telekom DE en resumen

Telekom uses the 3.6 GHz band for 5G in cities and 700 MHz for rural range, and reported about 92% of Germany's area covered by 5G as of April 2024.

Telekom Deutschland's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use Telekom Deutschland if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

Telekom Deutschland's coverage map

Telekom Deutschland publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows Telekom Deutschland's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses Telekom Deutschland

Mobile networks in Germany are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) (BNetzA). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

Los planes de nuestro catálogo que mencionan Telekom DE

From the supplier record behind each package, 3 of the 94 plans we currently sell for Germany declare Telekom DE as a network the profile can reach, at 4G and 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Por qué los planes no especifican una red fija

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If Telekom DE is weak where you are, try selecting Vodafone DE manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
