常见问题

Does validity start when I buy or when I use it?+

Most travel plans begin counting when the profile first connects successfully to a destination network, not at payment. But not every plan works that way — some start at purchase, and some use a start date you choose in advance. The condition is written on each plan's own page, so read that line before paying. If it is still unclear, ask before buying.

If I install the eSIM at home in advance, does the clock start?+

Installing and activating are separate steps. For plans that start on first connection, installing the profile ahead of time without switching the line on does not start the clock. The thing to watch is leaving the line enabled: the phone can register on a destination network the moment you turn off aeroplane mode. To control the timing precisely, keep that line off until you mean to begin.

My flight moved and the plan will expire before I get home — what now?+

There are two routes: top up or extend if that plan supports it, or buy a new plan, which arrives as a new profile to install. Both need a connection to complete, so act while you still have data or while you are on stable WiFi. Do not wait until the plan has actually expired — it is much harder to sort out from there.

Can leftover days carry over to my next trip?+

Generally no. Travel plans are tied to a defined validity window, and when it ends the remaining days and remaining data end with it. If a particular plan page says otherwise, follow what that page states. This is why buying extra length with no confirmed next trip usually does not pay off.

One long plan, or two short ones back to back?+

It depends which risk bothers you more. One long plan means installing once and no gap when switching. Two short ones let you spend in stages and adjust mid-trip, but require another install and carry a small risk of a gap while you swap. If your return date is not settled, buying short first and deciding again later is the more flexible route.

How do I check how many days my plan has left?+

Check the order page or the account you use to manage that plan — that is the only place showing the real expiry date for the plan you hold. The phone itself does not display it, because it only knows a profile is installed. The safest habit is to note the expiry in your calendar on day one and set a reminder a day before.
