Do I always need to enter the APN manually?+
Mostly not, since newer devices set it automatically the moment a connection succeeds. Only enter it manually if the connection genuinely fails, and use the correct value from your order confirmation email.
Why does restarting the device sometimes bring the network back?+
Restarting makes the device search for and connect to the network fresh from scratch, which often clears a temporary hang caused by switching networks while travelling.
Can a hotspot be used through this network setup?+
Yes, subject to the terms of the plan bought. Detail and how to switch on a hotspot are covered specifically in the hotspot category.
Why does speed differ between areas of the same country?+
Speed depends on the actual network density in that specific area, not a fixed figure set by the plan. This is covered in more depth in the data-speed category.
What should I do if I changed the network mode myself and lost connection?+
Try switching back to the automatic option in the same menu; if it still does not return, try restarting the device once more.
Can offline navigation help save data?+
Yes, many map apps support downloading maps in advance for offline use, which can substantially cut data usage while travelling.
Do I need to switch off Wi-Fi every time for mobile data to work?+
No — the device switches to mobile data automatically once no Wi-Fi is available. Switching Wi-Fi off temporarily is only a way to test it.
After a network settings reset, does the profile need reinstalling?+
No — an already-installed eSIM profile remains intact. The data-roaming switch may simply need turning back on.
Is it a problem if a manually chosen network is never set back to automatic?+
It can mean missing a better-signal network after moving areas. It is worth setting it back to automatic as soon as the reason for choosing manually has passed.

手机连到了比较慢的网络怎么办？+
手机会连信号最强的网络，但那不一定是最快的。用手动选网换一个合作网络试试，并确认首选网络模式是 5G/LTE，而不是 3G 或会压低速度的省电模式。
在国外怎么用原号码接收 OTP 验证码？+
让原本的线路保持开启以接收短信，但把它的数据漫游关掉。接收短信通常是免费的，真正贵的是数据漫游。出发前请先向你的运营商确认，你的号码已开通语音和短信漫游。
怎么避免原本的 SIM 卡产生漫游费？+
把主卡线路的数据漫游关掉，把移动数据设成 eSIM 线路，并关闭「允许切换蜂窝数据」——就是这个设置会在 eSIM 信号变弱时悄悄切回你的主卡。落地之后请把这三项再检查一遍。
怎么关闭自动切换数据？+
iPhone：设置 > 蜂窝网络 > 蜂窝数据 > 关闭「允许切换蜂窝数据」。大多数 Android 手机：设置 > 网络和互联网 > SIM 卡 > 选择上网用的那张卡，再关闭自动切换。菜单名称会因品牌和系统版本而异。
双卡应该怎么设置？+
原本的 SIM 卡留着打电话和收短信，把 eSIM 设为上网线路，关掉主卡的数据漫游、打开 eSIM 的数据漫游，并关闭自动切换数据。把两条线路分别命名成「原号码」和「旅行上网」，可以大幅减少设错的机会。
APN 要怎么修改？+
iPhone：设置 > 蜂窝网络 > 选择 eSIM 线路 > 蜂窝数据网络，然后填写 APN 栏。Android：设置 > 网络和互联网 > SIM 卡 > 接入点名称（APN），再用订单上的值新建一个 APN。设定完请重启手机。
eSIM 可以搭配 VPN 使用吗？+
可以。VPN 跑在网络连接之上，不在乎这条连接来自 eSIM 还是实体卡。要注意它会增加一点额外开销，可能让速度变慢。请在出发前先装好 VPN App 并登录。
在中国大陆上网有什么要注意的？+
中国大陆对部分国际服务的访问有限制。许多旅行套餐是漫游在中国境内的网络上，因此同样受这些限制影响；也有一些套餐会把流量绕出境外，可访问的服务就不一样。购买前请先看套餐页面，并在出发前准备好 VPN 之类的备用方案。
还能用原来的号码接电话吗？+
可以，前提是手机支持同时启用两条线路，而且你没有关掉原本那条。只要关掉那条线路的漫游数据，并把移动数据设成旅行配置文件即可。来电和短信照样收得到，但漫游时接听要收多少费用是由你的运营商决定，请先向他们确认。
过境去下一个国家需要做什么吗？+
如果套餐涵盖下一个国家，手机通常会自己重新连上网络，可能要等几分钟。若过了大约十分钟还是没有数据，就开关一次飞行模式。如果套餐不涵盖那个国家，请趁还有网络时先把下一个套餐装好。
我会连上哪一家网络？+
这取决于该套餐与目的地各运营商的合作。套餐页面会列出我们能够确认的可用网络。你的手机会依当下能收到的信号自动选择，行进途中也可能在多个可用网络之间切换。我们不保证一定连上某一家。
手机一直在切换网络，正常吗？+
在移动途中，或在多家网络信号相近的地方，这是正常的：手机会挑当下最好的一家。如果频繁切换经常打断连接，可以在你停留的地方改成手动选网，出发前往下一站时再切回自动。
飞机上可以用 eSIM 吗？+
飞行途中必须遵守航空公司规定并开启飞行模式。机上如果有网络，那是航空公司自己的 Wi-Fi，不会用到你的套餐，费用也另计。你的套餐要等落地后才派得上用场。
什么时候需要手动选网？要怎么选？+
当设置都正确、手机却找不到网络时就该手动选：打开网络选择，关掉自动，等清单出来后逐一尝试。
为什么连不上 5G？+
要同时满足三个条件：你所在的网络对漫游用户开放 5G、当地有 5G 覆盖，以及设备和套餐都支持 5G。
