Does dual-SIM setup always need doing before departure?+
It should always be done before departure, since checking and fixing it at home is far easier than doing so after arriving abroad, where there may be no Wi-Fi to fall back on if a setting is wrong.
Why can't calls go out even though the eSIM installed successfully?+
A trip eSIM usually has no number attached for outgoing calls; those still need to go through the home SIM. If a call will not go out, check that the outgoing-call line is still set to the home SIM in the line settings page.
Can data roaming be switched off on both lines at once?+
No — the trip eSIM needs its data roaming switched on to use the internet over the partner network. Switching both lines off leaves no internet at all for the whole trip.
Can the lines be labelled in Thai?+
Yes — most devices allow free-text labelling of a line, in Thai or English, whichever is easiest to remember.
What if the device does not show calls/SMS/data as three separate options?+
Some models bundle calls and SMS into a single option and keep data separate. Check that the bundled option is tied to the home SIM and the separate data option is tied to the eSIM — that still covers the same principle.
What to do next if everything is set correctly and there is still a problem?+
Contact the team on LINE or by email at esimonline.asia@gmail.com with the device model, the destination country, and a screenshot of the settings already checked, so the remaining point can be looked into faster.
