Xiaomi and eSIM
Xiaomi enables eSIM only on the numbered flagships and only in some markets. The Redmi and POCO models sold in Thailand are physical-SIM only, so always check your handset's menu before buying a plan.

How to check on the phone
- Open Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks
- Look for Use eSIM or Add eSIM
- HyperOS and MIUI place the menu differently — type eSIM into the Settings search box if it is missing
Cosas que conviene saber
- China-market units typically do not support foreign eSIM profiles.
- Some models expose eSIM only on European-market software builds.
- A China unit flashed with global software may still lack eSIM, because some builds have no chip at all — dial *#06# and see whether an EID appears.
