Huawei and eSIM
Huawei supports eSIM on selected models, mainly European-market P and Mate devices. China-market units and most models after 2022 do not offer it.

How to check on the phone
- Open Settings → Mobile network → SIM management
- Look for the eSIM option
- EMUI and HarmonyOS lay the menus out differently — search Settings for eSIM if you cannot find it

- Newer Huawei devices lack Google Mobile Services. That does not affect the eSIM itself, but it does affect the apps you rely on while travelling.
- Market differences are unusually large on this brand: the European unit has eSIM while the same model from China usually does not.
