常见问题

If a country is on the coverage list, will there be signal everywhere in it?+

Not necessarily. Coverage means a roaming partner network operates in that country, but signal density varies by area. Major cities typically have better signal than rural areas, mountains, or small islands.

How can I check the coverage of a specific destination before buying?+

Start by reading the coverage details stated on that destination's own plan page. If a question is still unanswered, message us on LINE at https://lin.ee/skDPoNx or email esimonline.asia@gmail.com so the team can check the available information.

If signal turns out weaker than expected on arrival, what should be tried first?+

Try toggling airplane mode once so the phone re-registers with a tower, and try moving to open ground or closer to a window, since thick walls or buildings can genuinely block a signal.

Can the coverage information shown on a plan page change over time?+

Yes, since network operators expand or adjust their service areas according to their own business plans — something outside a plan seller's control. Check the latest information again before every new trip.

Are coverage and internet speed the same thing?+

No. Coverage tells you whether a network reaches that area at all; actual speed depends on other factors too, such as how many people are on the network at that moment and the surrounding environment.

Does a global plan always cover better than a single-country plan?+

Not always, since coverage within each country still depends on that country's own roaming partner. A multi-country plan mainly adds the convenience of not swapping profiles — it does not automatically mean better signal in every individual country.
