Does unused data from today carry over to tomorrow?+
As a rule it does not. The mechanism closes the old portion and opens a fresh full one rather than adding to what was left, so yesterday's remainder lapses with yesterday. If you want to bank data for specific heavy days, a total-pool plan answers that need more directly. Where a particular plan behaves differently, it will say so in its own terms.
What time does the daily cycle reset?+
It depends on the plan. Some count local time at the destination, some the supplier's system time, and some run rolling twenty-four-hour blocks from your first connection. That is why we do not quote one time for everything. Check the terms of the plan you are looking at, or send us the plan name before buying and we will check that specific one.
If the day's portion runs out in the afternoon, what happens that evening?+
It depends on the plan: some stop data until the next cycle, others reduce the speed but stay connected. This is stated in the plan terms and is worth reading before you buy. If yours stops, keep a screenshot of your accommodation address and plan the route back in advance, so you are never stuck without a way to book a ride.
How many days should I buy for a five-night trip?+
Count from the day you land to the day you fly out rather than counting nights, because the first and last days each consume a full cycle even if you only use a few hours of them. A five-night trip therefore usually needs six days or more, and one spare day against a delay is generally cheaper than sourcing a replacement plan in transit.
Is an unlimited daily plan really unlimited?+
Unlimited here almost always means your data will not be cut off, not that the speed holds all day. The common structure is full speed up to a stated daily amount and reduced speed afterwards until the next cycle. The figure to compare between plans is therefore the full-speed daily amount, not the word in the headline.
Can I share a daily plan with a laptop over hotspot?+
It depends on the plan terms and on the device. Some plans permit sharing and some do not, so read that clause before buying if you intend to work from a laptop. Bear in mind too that a laptop gets through data considerably faster than a phone doing the same job, because of background work a phone does not perform — on a daily plan that ceiling arrives sooner than people expect.
