常见问题

Do I need to buy a plan from you before Wi-Fi calling will work?+

No. The feature comes from the operator that issued your number: if they have enabled it and your handset supports it, you can use it on any Wi-Fi. What our plan adds is internet you carry with you, so you are not waiting until you are back at the hotel — and on handsets that allow it, the call may travel over the eSIM's data as well.

Will using Wi-Fi calling put me on roaming charges?+

That depends on the terms of the operator that issued your number. Some treat it exactly like domestic use, some apply different terms once the handset is abroad, and some separate incoming from outgoing calls. We cannot answer for them and should not guess. Ask them directly and keep the answer in writing before you travel.

What does it mean if my phone has no such menu at all?+

Usually that the model or its software build does not expose the feature, or that your line is not entitled to it. Where the setting lives and what it is called vary by manufacturer and OS version. Update the software first, then ask your operator whether the line can be enabled. If the handset was imported, mention that when you ask, because manufacturer settings differ between markets.

Will I also receive SMS one-time codes over Wi-Fi calling?+

Not necessarily. Receiving messages is a separate service from receiving calls and may carry different conditions. If you depend on codes sent to your existing number, ask your operator as a separate question — and the safer arrangement is to keep the home SIM active alongside the eSIM, with the eSIM handling data only.

The audio keeps breaking up. What should I do?+

That is nearly always the connection rather than the feature. Public Wi-Fi in the evening, shared by everyone in the building, is the most common culprit. Move closer to the router, try another network, or if your handset allows it, switch to the eSIM's data and call again. If it persists across several networks, report it to your operator with the dates and times it happened.

Should I disable my home SIM while travelling?+

If you want calls and messages on your usual number, no. Leave it enabled but switch off its data roaming, and set the eSIM as the data line. You stay reachable without any risk of accidentally using the home line's data. Where these settings live differs by brand — look for the section that picks the data line and the one that toggles roaming per line.
