旅途中换手机,正在用的套餐会怎样
配置文件绑定设备,中途换机需要提前计划,而不是像换卡那样一插了事。

快速解答
- Do not delete the profile from the old device until you know a move is possible: deletion is usually irreversible.
- Contact the provider with your order number first: options depend on the supplier and the plan's state.

常见问题
The old screen is too broken to touch. Is anything still possible?+
Yes, if it still boots and still attaches to a network. Many phones accept a wired mouse or keyboard for on-screen control, and if screen mirroring was already configured you can use that. The simpler route is often to leave it running as a hotspot for the rest of the trip without touching its menus at all, and sort the profile out once you are home.
The supplier says a re-issue is possible but chargeable. Is that normal?+
It happens, and it varies by supplier: some re-issue free within their own conditions, others charge a handling fee. We cannot state in advance what every supplier does. Ask for the amount and exactly what you get for it before agreeing, then compare that against a short plan covering the days you have left. The two are sometimes closer than expected.
If I buy a phone abroad, what needs extra attention?+
Three things before paying: whether it genuinely supports eSIM, whether it is network-locked, and which regional variant it is, since some country-specific versions lack eSIM despite an identical model name. Ask the shop to open the add-a-cellular-plan menu on the actual unit you are buying, and check the model against our device checker first.
The old phone was stolen. What should I do about the profile inside it?+
Tell the supplier as soon as you can, with the order number, so they know the situation and can advise under that plan's policy. Meanwhile prioritise locking down accounts and remote-locking the device, because what is on the phone is worth more than the data left on it. Remember too that codes sent to the number in that phone may no longer reach you, so line up another way into your accounts.
After a transfer, does the expiry date shift?+
Normally not. Validity runs on the plan's own terms, which usually start at first activation. A transfer changes where the profile lives, not when its clock started. If you need more time, that is a separate matter — a top-up or a new plan — so ask the supplier whether yours can be topped up.
Should I keep carrying the old phone even after the new one works?+
If you can carry it, keep it until the trip ends. It doubles as a spare and as evidence of where the old profile sits, and if the new phone develops a problem you still have something to fall back on. If it is going to a repair shop or a buyer while you travel, remove the profile and wipe it first — and only after the new phone has proved it works.
常见问题
Does a full device migration carry the profile across?+
Not always: some systems support transfer only with participating providers. Confirm first, and keep the old profile until the new device genuinely works.
If I buy a replacement, is the old one refunded?+
It depends on the policy and how much of the plan was used. Contact us with the order number and we will check against the actual terms.
