快速解答
- The three switches that matter most: which line carries mobile data, that profile's data roaming, and automatic data switching.
- Most no-data problems come from those three switches rather than from the plan.

常见问题
Will switching roaming on cost me extra?+
For the travel profile you bought, the switch is a technical requirement that lets data work, not a door to extra charges. Your home line is a separate matter: its rates belong to that operator, which we cannot speak for. Leave roaming off on the home line unless you intend to use it.
Why do I have full bars but no working data?+
Because the bars only report that the phone is registered, not that data is permitted on that line. Check three things in order: is the line enabled, is it selected as the data line, and is data roaming on for it.
Should I lock the phone to one network generation?+
Usually not; leave it automatic. Pinning can stop the phone attaching to the network that is actually serving the area. It is a temporary troubleshooting tool, and should be returned to automatic once the problem is solved.
Does resetting network settings delete an eSIM profile?+
It depends on the model and the OS version: on some the profile survives, on others it may be affected. That is why it should not be a first resort abroad. If you must, do it while you still have Wi-Fi and with the installation details to hand.
Should I just turn the home line off while travelling?+
You can, if nothing important arrives on that number. Many people, though, need it for bank codes and similar. The middle path is to leave the line on but turn off its data and its roaming, so messages arrive without data flowing. What that costs is your operator's business, so ask them before you go.
Everything is set correctly and it still does not work. What now?+
Toggle airplane mode, leaving it on for around half a minute, then restart once. If it still fails, contact us on LINE at https://lin.ee/skDPoNx (@esimonline) or by email at esimonline.asia@gmail.com with the model, the country you are in, the network name in the status bar and your order number. That set of details makes the check as fast as it can be.

Why do the menu names differ on my phone?+
Manufacturers name things differently and change them between OS versions. Match the meaning rather than the wording, and search settings for cellular or roaming.
Should I edit the APN myself?+
Not unless we advise it: a wrong value stops data working even when everything else is correct.
