Can I install the profile weeks in advance?+
It depends on that plan's counting rule. If the clock starts at attach inside covered territory, installing early without enabling is usually safe. If it starts at installation or at purchase, doing it far ahead simply burns days. Check the terms of the plan you actually hold.
The profile installed but shows no signal. Is it broken?+
Usually not. A travel profile is designed to work in the destination, so no signal at home is expected. What to check instead is whether the profile appears in the list of lines. If it is there with the right name, the installation succeeded.
Can I enable it for a minute as a test, then switch it off?+
If the clock starts at attach inside covered territory, enabling it in a country that is not on the list usually does not start it. If your current country is on the list, enabling starts the clock immediately and irreversibly. Check the covered list before you touch the switch.
What if installation fails before the flight?+
Do not delete the profile and do not rescan the QR code repeatedly. Screenshot the error, then contact us with the order number, the device model and the OS version. Fixing it on home Wi-Fi is far easier than at the arrival airport.
Can I test the speed before I travel?+
No. The speed you get depends on the local network you attach to in the destination, the time and the place, none of which can be simulated at home. We do not guarantee speeds for the same reason. What is testable is device readiness and a correct installation.
On a dual-SIM phone, what else should I set before flying?+
Make it explicit which line carries data and which carries voice. Switch off the home line's data and data roaming to prevent unintended charges while leaving the line itself active for calls and SMS. Menu names differ by manufacturer and OS version, so search settings for SIM or cellular.
