Choosing the right Vietnam eSIM size
Vietnam trips usually hop between cities and call a ride all day long. This is how many gigabytes each trip length really takes.

Kurz erklärt
- A typical Vietnam trip uses roughly 1–1.5GB a day, so five to seven days lands on 10GB, and ten days or more is more comfortable at 20GB.
- If you plan to tether a travel companion's phone, count the actual number of devices sharing your line rather than guessing a small top-up.
- Always check the validity alongside the gigabytes: a 3GB pack with 15 days and a 3GB pack with 30 days suit very different trips.

Häufige Fragen
Is a 1GB, 7-day plan enough for a quick Hanoi weekend?+
Only if you live on hotel Wi-Fi and switch mobile data on just to call a ride or find your way. With maps and driver chats open all day, 1GB usually goes within the first day or two.
Which network does a Vietnam eSIM use?+
It depends on the plan. Each plan page lists the networks the supplier publishes for it — read that before buying, because we would rather show the supplier's own statement than generalise over it.
I'm continuing from Vietnam into Laos or Cambodia — a Vietnam plan or a regional plan?+
If more than half the trip is in Vietnam, a Vietnam plan plus a small plan for the other country usually wins. If the days are split evenly across the countries, one regional plan covering all of them is simpler because you never switch profiles at the border.
If the data runs out before I fly home, do I need a whole new eSIM?+
Not always — most Vietnam plans can be topped up on the profile you already installed. Message us any time of day or night on LINE, Messenger, email or phone, and we will say whether yours can be topped up or whether a fresh plan is cheaper.
Instagram and TikTok have no web share button, so we open your phone's share sheet or copy the link instead.
