Why am I not getting 5G?

It requires all three at once: the network you are on allowing 5G for roaming users, 5G coverage where you are, and a device and plan that support it.

We do not guarantee which network generation you will get in a given place, and we do not quote speeds, since these depend on factors outside our control.

For ordinary use such as maps, chat and search, the difference between network generations is often not noticeable.
