What should I keep as a record?+
The order number, the plan detail page as it was at purchase, and the confirmation email. Those three make any later check fast.
If the product page and the terms disagree, which governs?+
The terms govern, because that is the binding document. In practice, a screenshot of the plan page as it appeared when you bought is still useful when raising a query, and if the mismatch is on our site we treat it as our error to correct.
The terms changed after I bought. Does that apply to me?+
As a rule the version binding your order is the one in force on the day you transacted, which is exactly why saving a copy at purchase is worth the ten seconds. If you did not keep one and something is in question, contact the seller with the order number and purchase date.
The plan says unlimited, so why did it slow down?+
Because unlimited normally means no volume ceiling that cuts you off, while a separate full-speed allowance is stated elsewhere in the document. Once that is used, speed drops as described. Both figures differ by plan, so check the page for the one you bought.
Should I reread the terms every time, even from the same seller?+
Reread the five key clauses each time, because different plans from the same seller often carry different conditions, particularly on validity start and top-ups. It takes a few minutes once you know which words to search for.
What if the terms simply do not state the number I need?+
