フィンランドにおけるDNAと旅行用eSIM

DNAの概要

DNA closed its entire 3G network between October 2023 and January 2024, with the shared-network areas in eastern and northern Finland following during 2024, and moved the spectrum to 4G.

DNA's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use DNA if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

DNA's coverage map

DNA publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows DNA's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses DNA

Mobile networks in Finland are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

当店で取り扱うプランのうちDNAを記載しているもの

From the supplier record behind each package, 32 of the 92 plans we currently sell for Finland declare DNA as a network the profile can reach, at 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

プランが特定のネットワークを名指ししない理由

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If DNA is weak where you are, try selecting Elisa or Telia Finland manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
