ベトナムにおけるViettelと旅行用eSIM

Viettelの概要

Viettel is state-owned, run under Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence, and Wikipedia describes it as the operator with the largest market share in Vietnam. It has already discontinued its 3G network.

Viettel's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use Viettel if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

From the supplier record behind each package, 86 of the 101 plans we currently sell for Vietnam declare Viettel as a network the profile can reach, at 4G and 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

Viettel beside the other networks in Vietnam

プランが特定のネットワークを名指ししない理由

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If Viettel is weak where you are, try selecting MobiFone or Vinaphone manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
