ドイツにおけるVodafone DEと旅行用eSIM

Vodafone DEの概要

Vodafone Germany switched off 3G on 30 June 2021 and runs 5G on bands n3, n28 and n78.

Vodafone Germany's bands and technology

An eSIM can only use Vodafone Germany if your phone supports at least one band in this table. Before you fly, open your model's spec page on the maker's site and compare its LTE and 5G band lists.

Vodafone Germany's coverage map

Vodafone Germany publishes its own coverage map. Look up the street or district you will stay in rather than the country as a whole, because coverage in town and out of town differs a great deal. The map shows Vodafone Germany's own network; a roaming plan may not get every technology it shows.

Who licenses Vodafone Germany

Mobile networks in Germany are licensed, and their spectrum assigned, by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) (BNetzA). The bands above are the ones it allocates. A problem with the local network's own service goes to the operator first; a problem with your eSIM plan comes to us.

当店で取り扱うプランのうちVodafone DEを記載しているもの

From the supplier record behind each package, 94 of the 94 plans we currently sell for Germany declare Vodafone DE as a network the profile can reach, at 4G and 5G. The figure comes from the same catalogue that prices the plan pages, and it moves when the supplier revises the record.

プランが特定のネットワークを名指ししない理由

Nearly every travel eSIM is a roaming product: the profile picks a network by an order the supplier sets, not by the buyer. If Vodafone DE is weak where you are, try selecting Telekom DE manually in the network settings, and keep data roaming on for the eSIM profile.
