常见问题
Can eSIM work on an older phone without an eUICC chip?+
No — without that chip there's nowhere for the profile to be stored. The chip has to be built in at the factory; it cannot be added afterward.
Do I get a new phone number when I buy an eSIM?+
Usually not — our plans are primarily for data connectivity, not a number for calling or receiving calls. Check that specific plan's details before buying if you also need calling.
Can one eSIM be used on more than one phone?+
It's generally tied to one device once installed. Moving to another phone usually needs a fresh profile reissued under that provider's terms — it's not a simple physical transfer like a SIM card.
Can I install the eSIM before I actually travel?+
Yes — installation only saves the profile onto the device. Nothing switches on or starts counting until you turn on data roaming for that line yourself.
If my phone doesn't support eSIM but I still need data abroad, what can I do?+
If the phone has no eUICC chip at all, an eSIM genuinely cannot be installed on it. Message us on LINE or by email before travelling to ask about an alternative suited to your specific device.
