How many times can a QR be scanned?+
It can only install successfully once. Once a scan succeeds, that QR is technically consumed even if data has not been switched on yet.
Must Wi-Fi be used throughout, or can mobile data replace it?+
Wi-Fi is recommended for stability and to avoid spending existing data, but in many cases the existing SIM's mobile data can also download the profile.
Can the QR be scanned from the same device that will be installed?+
Not physically possible, since the device's camera needs to see the QR from outside itself — it must be shown on a separate screen or printed paper.
The scan says it has already been used — what should I do?+
First check whether any device might have already scanned it. If none turns up, send a screenshot of the error and the order number for us to check the real status.
I cannot find the add-eSIM menu on my device — what should I do?+
The menu name differs by manufacturer and OS version — look for cellular, mobile, or SIM wording in the main settings first. If it truly cannot be found, check whether the device actually supports eSIM.
The profile download stalled because Wi-Fi dropped — do I need to start completely over?+
In most cases you need to restart the add-eSIM step from the beginning, since a stalled download usually cannot resume from where it left off. Confirm you are on a stable Wi-Fi connection before trying again.
