Yes. Both routes install the exact same eSIM profile. Only the step before installation differs, and it has no effect on the plan's speed or data allowance.
If no confirmation code is shown on the order page, does it need to be found elsewhere?+
No. If the order page shows nothing under that heading, that profile simply does not need one. It is fine to leave that field blank if the phone happens to show it.
If the code was typed incorrectly once already, does that block installation permanently?+
Generally not. Mistyping once and then trying again with the correct value usually works fine. If several attempts still fail, contact the team so the profile's status can be checked.
Is a separate QR-scanning app needed for manual entry?+
No. Manual entry only needs the phone's own settings app and the order page open to copy values from — no extra app needs installing.
Why does the phone sometimes ask for a third value never seen before?+
That is a confirmation code or matching ID that some suppliers add. If your order page shows it, copy it in as normal; if not, leave it blank and continue.
