What a record goes through before it is published

Records that have not passed every step stay in our system but are not shown. Where a fact has not been confirmed by an official source, we say it is not verified rather than guess.
What we do not publish
- Speed or ping figures we did not measure ourselves.
- Claims that a network or plan is the best, without data behind them.
- Regulations quoted from blogs or other sellers instead of the authority itself.
- Translations that no native reader has checked.

Where does the data on this page come from?+
Three places: the catalogue of packages we actually sell (prices and networks), documents that manufacturers and authorities publish themselves (devices and regulations), and industry standards such as 3GPP and IETF documents (the technical explainers). Each page lists its own sources.
Do you publish real speed or ping measurements?+
Not yet. We do not publish figures we have not measured ourselves. When we do, every result will carry its date, place, device, the network it attached to and the method, so it can be repeated.
What if something here is wrong?+
Tell us through the corrections page. We re-check against the original source and correct the page.
